Career Outreach

CREW Careers - To educate and expose underrepresented young adults of San Diego County to opportunities and careers within the commercial real estate industry and influence the pipeline of future professionals within CRE.

UCREW- To educate and expose college students in San Diego to the many opportunities and careers within the commercial real estate industry. Additionally, UCREW provides unique sponsorship opportunities through CREW Network to college students and is the gateway for upcoming talent in commercial real estate.

CREWmates - Facilitate an annual members only mentorship program by curating partnerships of mentors and mentees who elect to participate and plan exclusive educational or career events for said participants.

CREW Foundation

CREW Foundation Initiatives:

  • Chapter Challenge

Fundraising initiative for CREW Network’s Foundation.  The Foundation supports three key efforts:

1) College Scholarships - funds university-level educations for women pursuing careers in commercial real estate;

2) Career Outreach – promotes bringing more women into the field of commercial real estate by creating educational programs that educate women and girls about the career opportunities available to them including CREW Careers, UCREW, and mentoring; and

3) Industry Research Fund – helps to close the compensation and advancement gap for women through benchmark reports and white paper series. 

  • CREW San Diego Building Future Foundation (CREW BFF)

CREW SD’s local scholarship which is currently being developed and launched to be an additional member benefit to our local chapter. This scholarship fund is available to CREW San Diego members and will provide funds for career advancement. 

  • Sweatworking

Organizing interactive and health-oriented activities such as group fitness, yoga, and spin classes that allows us to network and connect while simultaneously raising funds for our CREW BFF.

The Membership committee recruits and welcomes new members, encourages and coordinates annual membership renewals and explores opportunities to enhance the advantages available to members.

CREW Emerging Leaders - CREW Emerging Leaders is dedicated to fostering the growth of commercial real estate professionals with 0-5 years of industry experience. This group offers a supportive peer network where professionals can connect, ask questions, and build friendships. Through educational programs and shared experiences, members gain valuable insights, strengthen their confidence, and support each other’s growth on their journey to becoming future leaders in the industry. Must be a CREW member to participate on the Emerging Leaders committee; however, attendance at Emerging Leader events is open to both members and non-members.

The Special Events committee plans and coordinates annual special events, recruits special event sponsors, including charity golf tournament, wine tasting and summer social.

Sponsorship

 

Committee Chair: Alexandra Jimenez-Franke

The Sponsorship Committee raises funds to support CREW San Diego's mission of advancing women in commercial real estate. The Committee maintains Sponsor relationships and acts as a liaison to CREW San Diego. The Committee also plans and hosts the Annual Sponsorship Appreciation Event.
