The Building Futures Foundation supports the San Diego Community by advancing careers in commercial real estate through education and training.
Investing in the Future of Commercial Real Estate
The CREW San Diego Building Futures Foundation was created to support the growth, education, and advancement of future leaders in commercial real estate. Through scholarships and educational support, the Foundation helps open doors for students and working professionals who are committed to building meaningful careers in the industry.
The Foundation’s mission extends beyond financial assistance. It is about creating access to opportunity, encouraging professional growth, and strengthening the commercial real estate community by supporting the next generation of leaders.
Whether pursuing a college degree, industry certification, continuing education, or professional development, scholarship recipients become part of a network of professionals dedicated to mentorship, leadership, and long-term impact within the San Diego commercial real estate community.

Continuing Education Stipend (Working Professionals):
Supports CRE professionals currently working in the industry who are looking to expand their knowledge or advance their careers through certifications, specialized courses, or degree programs. Funds can be applied toward accredited programs that directly enhance professional development and career growth.
Past Recipients
Scholarships awarded to support continuing education, leadership development, certifications, and professional training programs.
College Student Stipend:
Provides up to $2,500 for students who are either incoming or currently enrolled in a commercial real estate–related field of study. This stipend is designed to support the next generation of CRE professionals as they pursue degrees that lead to careers in the industry.
Together, these stipends reflect CREW BFF’s commitment to investing in both the pipeline of future talent and the ongoing advancement of women in commercial real estate.

Through its benchmark reports and white paper series, CREW Network can inform the industry and mark the progress of women in commercial real estate.
Career Outreach
Commercial real estate offers rewarding and lucrative careers often overlooked by women who may be unaware that these opportunities exist. CREW Network is committed to bringing more women into the field by creating educational programs that educate women and girls about the career opportunities available to them (CREW Careers and UCREW) and providing mentoring to those new to the industry. Your contributions help fund the programs’ administrative support and participant materials.
Foundation Chapter Challenge
The CREW Network Foundation Chapter Challenge increases awareness of the Foundation’s powerful reach. As a result members have raised thousands of dollars for college scholarships, industry research and career outreach.
The Challenges:
Get 100% of your chapter’s board to give an individual donation
Get 50% of your chapter’s members to give an individual donation
Chapter gives an organizational donation of $1,000 or more
