CREW Members Only Luncheon - Emotional Intelligence in Life- Practices in Focus & Understanding

  • Mission Federal Credit Union HQ 10325 Meanley Drive San Diego, CA, 92131 United States (map)

Emotional Intelligence plays a large part in our everyday lives. According to Daniel Goleman, a “go-to” and guru on Emotional Intelligence theory, Emotional Intelligence is “a key factor in building a future of more mindful, self-aware, and empathic leaders – those who understand how their decisions impact the wellbeing of everyone.” A person with high E.I. is a person who is smarter in a different way than their I.Q.  E.I. is a key to high performance in how you manage yourself and your relationships with others.

So- How can we as individuals practice being more mindful, enhance our self-awareness and be regulated in our emotions to interact with others in the workplace and at home with a higher level of emotional intelligence?

CREW San Diego is excited to present an Interactive Workshop with Erin Downing, author of Kundalini Yoga Demystified: A Modern Guide to What It Is and How to Practice. We will be engaging in a few small group exercises to provide everyone with a greater understanding of how to monitor our own emotions and how to use this information to guide ourselves in our thinking and actions with others.
